Ok, who in their right mind would go on SL and have a kid, especially when they have 5 of them in RL???

When I first came on SL and seen pregnant women in world, I thought it was funny… then as I started to think about it, I realized why most do…

Reasons why people have babies on SL:

• Can’t have them for various reasons in Real World. It is your second life after all, it is to do with what you can’t in your first life.
• You meet someone, fall in love and want the world with them. Yes folks, love can happen in SL, real love. I met a couple who met on SL and are now getting married in RL. Think its just a game?
• You are an empty nester and miss them in RL. This is where I fit in. My youngest just left the house last year, and this is my first childless deployment in RL. SL does help pass the time, and I enjoy when my husband can log online, even if it is just that email, it’s still time together, the best we have for now. Between plotting the over throw of the world with Kyle, I hang out a lot with mine and Andy’s SL baby. Surprisingly enough, attachement can happen between you and a bundle of prims. If a Marine can get an attachment to one, who else is strong enough to resist? Trust me, she has prevented that proverbial clock tower episodes.
