As most know, wordpress has become my newest addiction. I have followed so many tutorials, read the docs over at Wordpress.org, and have finished 4 layouts. YEAH I AM ACCOMPLISHED!! LOL The new layout on this site is one of the ones I made. It may be pretty basic and all that, but I am pretty proud of it. I succeeded at something I had been trying to do since this blog was set up.

I think I am gonna be posting the themes over at the fantasy net freebie forums for free use. Share my learning and hopefully help someone else out.

Know if I could just master plugins, or actually come up with one that has a use, then I will be dangerous!

Stringed instruments other then guitars and basses do have their place in metal…. here’s the proof.

I had been having some problems with one of my neighbors at the new house.  Not a nice person at all.  Last night I got so frustrated, I took my house off my property and all that fun stuff.  Dropped my dogs and my desk for my Onrez box @ my little sister Bri’s house.  I even considered leaving SL.  I had reset my home to her front porch.  I didn’t plan on going back to my old place.

When my husband called, I asked him to set the property up for sale.  Being that it was grouped under the band group, one of the band members had to do it.  I am just a band spice, I don’t have that ability, not that I would want it.

Tonight, I logged into SL to check the market and see if things are going ok, expecting to log onto my sister’s front porch.  As things start to rez, I notice I am not at my sister’s.  I am in a sim where she holds rental property.

As it continues to load, I do the typical, check email.

“Sissy, I am not letting you leave SL because some bitch wants to be petty for what ever reason.  I am not going to let you do that, and you know as long as I have it, you will never be with out a place to go.  I built you a new house, Andy put some of your stuff into it, you need to go to my house and get your dogs. They have more room to run around now. We decided to let you do the kids’ rooms and set their stuff up because being a mom, I know how important that is for a mom to do.  I hope you like it.  I love you.  — Spawn”

There was more to that email, like how she hadn’t slept in over 72 hours and hoped all the prims aligned properly, and if not she sold it to me for 0L and full prims so it didn’t have to be moved and replace it and so that I could fix or change what ever I wanted to, Andy helped, Kyle came online to help, etc etc.

It’s a beautiful house. It’s the house I wanted to build before but didn’t have the room. I also wasn’t sure how I was going to keep it low prim. She did the whole house and front awning and deck in 48.

This particular property was supposed to go to the art museum she wanted to build. That project was important to her. In this gesture, I see that I am more important to her. I always knew she loved me, but this reminded me how much. It also reminded me that not only is she my sister, but my best friend.

Maybe later I will come back and edit this post so it makes more sense. Right now I am being overly emotional. If you knew about the ups and downs of the last 2 years of all of our real lives, it would be easier to understand the why.

Got anymore school projects to clear out?

But for how long? I would like to point out before I begin that I am not opposed to having an African American in the White House. I myself am NOT white. I also am not a racist and as long as they stand behind our military, believe in our Constitution and will do what’s best for this country, I don’t care who is in the White House. Can be purple with pink spots for all I care. As long as they uphold the Constitution of this Country. I am also a LOT miffed that Mr Obama didn’t seem to acknowledge our flag with the proper respects it deserves when he won the election…. not fitting of a man or woman who is the most forefront figure head of not only this country, but the commander in chief of our military… WHOOO HOOO YEAH GOOD MILITARY SUPPORT THERE!! GOOD LOOKIN OUT!!

Our Consitution, this piece of paper that some are taking as meaningless, represents the blood of the fighting men and women who have gained and continue to keep this country free.  What a slap in the face to our veterans, extending from 1775 to current.  Did they die, or become DAVs for nothing?  Freedom is what they stand for, fight for, and what I as a USMC wife and mother, am grateful that they have done.  Gives me the right to write this post.  So with that, if you like the fact that you can bitch right now, THANK A VET!!

This same piece of paper also represents the struggles and oppression of so many, the Native Peoples of this land who fought to retain what was theirs, then the struggle for them to be apart of what was created from their blood and tears; the Africans who were ripped from their homelands and brought to a far away land and sold into slavery, their fight for freedom, both as runaway slaves and finally the Civil War; the Constitution gives them their freedom in writing and symbolizes the struggles of so many great African Americans. Again, let’s slap them in the face some more people. Although, since I can, first amendment gives me this right for now, it hasn’t been taken away yet; Mr Obama is not only African, but he is also white, and possibly Arabic decent. He represents more people then just the African Americans of this country. I personally don’t find that a bad thing. This country has become such a melting pot of so many races, it’s a shame to me that racism still exists. We can all find a little bit of this and that culture in ourselves. EMBRACE IT!!

Broken down:

“Natural-Born
An understanding of the nation is essential for the role of President. The framers of the Constitution strongly believed that a person must be born in the United States in order to fully understand the country.

35 Years of Age
Personal experience was very important to the framers. They felt that unless a person had reached the age of thirty-five, it was highly unlikely for that person to have experienced enough to govern a nation.

14 Year Residency
Part of being President involves dealing with both domestic and foreign problems. In order to face these problems, previous knowledge of the nation’s history in these matters is necessary. The framers decided that fourteen years was an adequate time span to comprehend these issues.”

Citizens at the time of adoption of the Constitution were also eligible to become president, provided they met the age and residency requirements, which is why the 14 year residency requirement.”

Now you may be asking yourself what makes this election illegal… Lets touch on the facts of this illegal election.

Point 1.  Mr Obama has said that his mother was born in Kansas.

Point 2.  Mr Obama stated on the night of his win, he was born the son of immigrants.

Can’t have it both ways.  Your mom can’t be born in Kansas and still be an immigrant.  Sure, you could say his mother born in Kansas adopted him, but that then still turns us to Point 2. Should he have said he was born the son of an immigrant instead of immigrants? Mr Obama seems to have a hard time keeping on path with each story he tells. (EXAMPLE: “America can not afford this war” aprox 10 mins later “We need to go after Pakistan next”).

December 24, 1952, to November 13, 1986, the requirement to be a NATURAL BORN US Citizens stated that your parents had to be US Citizens, one Parent had to be a US Citizen if the other was an immigrant, you were born on a US military installation abroad if one of your parents was OCONUS and stationed overseas at the time of your birth; immigrants had to reside in the US for 5 years at the time of their child’s birth in the US for that child to be a natural born US Citizen.

We know his father was a Kenyan Citizen, here on a school visa. Allegedly, his father returned to Kenya after abandoning his family and attending Harvard in Boston. So, established his father was an immigrant here to attend school, not a US citizen. I use the term allegedly due to so many inconsitencies of a lot of things being told to us, we don’t know what the facts are since they seem to change from day to day.

Now, again, you are thinking how is this an illegal election?  Mr Obama was born in Hawaii….  Was he?  There is speculation that he was born in Kenya and arrived in Hawaii shortly after being born, and a birth certificate was “created”.  I have googled the questionable birth certificate and took a look.  It has been noted that the diamonds on the border are aprox 4 pixels off from other 1961 Hawaii birth certificates, and there is words on his that are different to the official ones, there is no official state seal, and ironically enough, it has been sealed. Shows that there is something to hide if you ask me. There is also the fact of his refusal to release it. Why? The American public has to provide a true copy of their birth certificate to get a driver’s license, apply for social security numbers, go to school, get married, etc, why shouldn’t a presidential candidate be required to do the same? Is one to assume that the president or any other government official are above the rest of us? No… technically, they are there to serve us. As we are the ones who employ them (we hire them, pay them with our tax money, etc, and in some cases fire them, like Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton before the Senate acquitted them. Yes folks, Clinton was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives, at least Nixon had the honor to resign.)

Please look here at the beautifully done photoshop work on this birth certificate. As a photoshop user myself, I was VERY impressed.

You also do not need to be physically born in the state of Hawaii to get a Hawaiian birth certificate…
Interesing huh? Could be born on the moon and get a Hawaiian birth certificate.

Ok now lets go to the relevancy of the real matter shall we? Birth Certificate aside..

US Law very clearly states: ‘. . . If only one parent is a U.S. Citizen at the time of one’s birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for minimum ten years, five of which must be after the age of 16.’ We already know Mr Obama’s father was not a citizen.

Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born. This means even though she had been a U.S. Citizen for 10 years, (or citizen of Hawaii being a territory), his mother fails the test for at-least-5-years- prior-to Barack Obama’s birth, but-after-age-16. According to that law that was on the books from December 24, 1952, to November 13, 1986, his mother would need to have been 21 in order for Obama to be a NATURAL BORN citizen. She did not meet the requirement to be a U.S. Citzen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16.

This is another interesting read, you will find public records that were deleted off of Wikipedia with in 35 mins after being posted, plus some other interesting facts about Ms Anne Dunham.

Would also like to point out that at one point, Mr Obama claimed to have had dual citizenship.

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4,1982.”

Am I on a witch hunt? No, not really. Am I being pissy because there is a non white guy in the White House came Jan? Nope, please see my first paragraph, second sentence. He can prove that he meets the criteria of our Constitution validly with out making it look suspicious, then I will conceed that I am wrong. Until that time, I am a citizen looking to defend my rights. This illegal election truly is the beginning of a major change in this country if we allow it it to continue.

I think the next change will be the abolishment of the 5th amendment, since America has so easily closed it’s eyes to our Constitution already. You know, the amendment that gives you the right to remain silent and not incriminate yourself, the right to a fair and speedy trail by jury of your peers; innocent until proven guilty; I believe Miranda was born from this amendment as well…

Then most likely the 1st will be tossed out the window. You know the one that gives us our voice, and freedom of religion and all that? Sure I know our government has done a crappy job with the seperation of church and state, but that to me is a minor issue as long as our rights remain intact. I practice Comanche Spirituality, and not a Christian myself. I would like the right to be able to continue to do that with out persecution.

That’s all I am doing with this post. Exercising my freedoms before they are taken from me, making my voice heard that I will and am willing to uphold our Constitution and freedoms that my family members and friends have fought and died for. Its not in the same way, but if it comes down to it, I hope that I am as brave as they are; not just a mouth of protest.

I simply want the truth, I want our government to know and remember they are not above us. They must be held to abide by the same rules and laws the rest of us are.

Our Constitution MUST be upheld. That’s the bottom line. I for one refuse to turn a blind eye to this. If you choose to do so, that’s your decision, just remember that you allowed it and don’t have the right to bitch about it.

The long anticipated Virtual Villagers 3 has finally hit our household… As if the first two weren’t addicting enough…

VV3 has even better graphics… the kids are even cuter then they were in 2!

Things I have learned in playing this game for a few hours… DO NOT try and make any potions before you have purchased level 2 alchemy, they will blow up and your poor scientist will die from a work accident. Peep, my 24 year old Master Builder and Adept Scientist died that way…

Plant your tree seed first thing you do, then have someone light the fire and pick a farmer to clear the bees out of the hive. Start working on your builders before finding your chief, if not nothing will get done. Your chief though can make magical food once in a 24 hour period though.

Do not follow the tutorial suggestion and breed right away. For a bit you want to keep your village count low, so you can build your food supply and earn tech points to buy at least your faction.

Ok, first would like to point out that I have no problem with transgender ppl, homosexuality, bi sexuality, etc.. I have a problem with lying that causes hurt to someone else, betrayal of trust, and down right cruelty.

One should not be so arrogant as to think that the person behind another avatar has no feelings, especially when the asshole behind the lie is always concerned about his own feelings, wants and needs..

There are folks on SL who are male but use a female avatar. Many of these men will not hit on other men and get them in bed and never tell them that they were in many senses forced into homosexual sex acts…. Many of these men will not prey on innocent women, saying that they are women too, engage in sex acts with the unsuspecting woman, can this be construed as internet rape?

I have witnessed these “rapes” first hand, unfortunately and have seen the results of it.

Lets touch on that and why I am considering what I have witnessed rape… Names are being withheld to not only protect the innocent but according to the law, even the offenders have rights.. I will refrain from commenting on what my personal opinion on that is… who am I to tell the forefathers of our wonderful country they are wrong. However, I am excercising my 1st amendment
right to write this… if you have a problem with the content, then this must be hitting too close to home, you are either the ppl I am talking about OR you have done this to someone yourself…

Point 1: A man pretending to be a woman, meets a hetro sexual man. They start a friendship, start dating, sexual relationship begins, they get SL married and start a family… never once did this “woman” indulge to “her” partner that she is actually a man. Is this wrong?
Some will argue that what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him…. bullshit… there is a chance the man will find out his wife is another man.

Let’s say he did find out…. he was in all senses lied to, and in many cases forced AND manipulated into having sex with another man. Not knowing the truth puts those sexual acts as against his will… he wouldn’t have done it in RL with another man, nor would he have on SL if he had known the truth.

The Outcome: This couple were dear SL friends of my husband and myself. They helped us work on our island when we had it.

The discovery: RL wife of the “wife” emailed the “husband”… was pissed that he was taking up all her husband’s time… turned out that the “wife” had been sending our friend photos of his own wife saying it was him… at first the “husband” thought someone was playing a cruel joke on him… he was right about that fact in reality…. our friend didn’t believe the emails, so the RL
wife said here’s our phone number, call… so he did…

The effect: Our friend went into a depression, after a year and a half with this “woman”, he had developed rl feelings for “her”. He was literally heart broken. He lost trust in everyone, and left SL. I miss him very much and hope he is doing well and is working
on healing.

Not only does this fit the definition of rape, but it fits the definition of emotional/mental abuse and cruelty…

Point 2: A man pretends to be a woman, makes friends with another woman at an online community… the man maintains through out the relationship he is a woman, the innocent victim never suspects anything, especially since this man’s girlfriend is covering for him… maintaing
that he is indeed a woman, they are a lesbian couple. The innocent victim starts is in a friendship with both of these women. They both know the victim is married, loves her husband, know she is bi sexual but know she is not allowed to be with another man…

Now, a normal person would have not even tried to pursue a sexual relationship, a selfish, manipulative one who cares nothing for anyone else’s feelings but his own, even maintaining that he loves the victim did…

This is a key point of ppl being arrogant and forgetting that the person behind the screen and words in type is a REAL PERSON and has REAL FEELINGS…. this “rapist” to the end maintained that his feelings were hurt, he was all important and did nothing wrong… as did his pregnant girlfriend who btw told their friends she had the flu while she was going through morning sickness… Now remember,
this is the same girlfriend who covered for her boyfriend maintaining he was a she… you can call her an enabler…

Now…

The offender during thier relationship is very controlling, manipulative, and mean… I witnessed the victim passed out in RL at her desk due to meds she was on and not paying attention to the offender, who got pissed and hit her avatar with a car… what does that say about the offender in the first place? The offender knew that the victim was on meds for a lung infection RL that was bordering on pnemonia… Only thing he cared about was himself clearly and the lack of attention she was giving him… I will stop the events and points on the cause there I could be here all night and frankly, I don’t feel like it… there was so much that happened to this innocent person by the offender
and his enabler, it makes me sick to even think about it… even more sick to think that these two maintain the are the victims and did nothing what so ever wrong…

The outcome: I would like to point out that I have known the victim RL for many, many years. She is a dear friend who I have known to be a very strong person, she is kind, loyal, will do anything for you within her ability to help you out. She is truly a real person with very real feelings.

The discovery: The enabler passed out her myspace page… it was clear on the page who the offender was… Confrontation, he tried to deny it and try to turn it on her… I have seen the icq logs and happened to be in the office with her at the time it happened… I visited her
often at her office and we often had lunch together both out of the office and in the office while she was on a working lunch. I have a copy of this log and many others backed up for protection in case this situation hits a court room.

It has come to my attention that another person had found out before our mentioned victim, and when this other person confronted our offender again denial and tried to turn it on the innocent person. I also maintain a back up of those logs as well for potential court purposes.

The effect: The outcome to this was horrible… the victim actually went into the same criteria that most rape victims have been known to. Further more in her mind even though she didnt know that the offender was male, she was now a “dirty whore and her husband has the right
to divorce her for cheating on him”. Some of you who do not know the victim will not understand this… blow it off its a game, but to understand the feelings this victim had, you would have to understand her and the prior history between her and both the offender and the enabler. Her number one value in her life is her family. This woman is not a cheater, very loyal to her family and her husband.

She stayed away from SL and when she did come on, tried to avoid the offender and the enabler. They would often get in her face, the enabler tried to provoke her many times… the victim tried to move ahead but these two people would not allow her to do that.

During the course of this, the victim changed her last name to her husband’s. She felt she had to due to needing to feel safe. The enabler and the offender even tried to call her at work.

The saddest part, is that the victim talked about here is not the only victim of the offender and enabler… from my understanding there have been many unfortunate victims, and each victim has been degraded and made to be the “criminal” by the offender and the enabler.

These ppl continue to maintain they have done nothing wrong, everyone else they hurt did. They continue to lie about these victims of theirs; degrade them to others. The victim in question is still honoring a legal agreement that she sent them to not talk about anything she knows.
Thats due to the type of character she has. I however, did not sign anything or even verbally agree to keep my mouth shut on things I have witnessed. The only thing I will silence are the names of the victims, the offender and the enabler.

I know this has been a long post but it needed to be said. Someone has to watch out for the innocent ppl who day after day turn on their computers and get involved with others in a friend or love capacity. I do not believe that this can happen only on SL, it can happen any where there are nice ppl and selfish, arrogant, manipulative predators lurking about… irc, icq,online communites, anywhere.

In closing, as you journey through cyber space, keep in mind that the person you are chatting with is not just words on a screen… they may be nameless to you other then their handle, but the are real ppl on the other side with real feelings.
